1. This is probably my favorite time of the year.  You can still plant the majority of the Winter vegetables and begin to start planting your Spring Crop.  From now until the 10th of March is the best time of year to plant tomatoes and peppers.  You can also start seeding squash, zucchini and cucumbers.

Strawberries are looking great and have their Spring blooms to look forward to which will be the largest of the year as far as production.  We still have about 60 planted strawberry EarthBoxes left and they are going quickly.

Our selection of tomatoes is looking good, we have 3 types of cherry tomatoes, orange and red grape.  Also have 3 types of grape tomatoes, Romas, and big yellow tomatoes.  We have 7 types of large tomatoes, a couple of heirlooms and Everglades.  We have the usual selection of peppers and have over 20 varieties of peppers for you to choose from.

Now is also a good time to plant herbs, lettuces, and kale. Still have a good selection of Avocado, Citrus and Mango trees that grow well in this area that can be planted now.

Come on out and stroll through the Garden, we still offer our free EarthBox Gardening classes every Wednesday and Saturday at 10 am, no reservation required!

See you soon, there is no time like right now to plant for the future!
