About The EarthBox
The Earthbox gardening system is the result of a dream and eight years of diligent research by Manatee County tomato farmer, Blake Whisenant. Blake was dedicated to bringing farming to the home gardener. The Earthbox makes it possible for anyone, amateur or professional, landowner or condo dweller, to grow quality vegetable, herbs and flowers. The box allows for minimal management, conserves water and is environmentally friendly. Blake passed away February of 2018. The Carlton family plans to carry on Blake’s legacy at the EarthBox Garden Center in Ellenton.
